You need a spreadsheet to keep up with everything songwriter Nima Kazerouni is doing these days (so pardon our being a month late on this particular song). His So Many Wizards are working on a new album. His electronic pop project Crown Plaza has a show tonight at Harvard & Stone and new music in the works. His dream-pop collaboration with Social Studies’ Natalia Rogovin, originally called GNTLMN, has been renamed Human Touch. And he’s got something new going with Allie Bumsted, Corina Gasher and Kaitlin Weichsel called Nectarine, although we couldn’t tell you yet whether it sounds sweet. All of which makes So Many Wizards’ concise kiss-off anthem “Everybody Goes Away” sound a little ironic, right? The song was made for a Converse split 7-inch with Tennis System; everybody might be going away, sure, but Kazerouni has more people in his life coming than going, it seems.
