Coachella 2015: Kasabian, packing a raver’s energy

0

Who: Kasabian in the Mojave Tent
In 3 or Fewer Words: Scorching loud fun.
Memorable Because: Kasabian never fails to put on a good show. Loud, fast, ferocious with some English swagger, the Leicester quartet rocked a crowd quite bigger than the other older Brit-rock bands were able to pull in. Not only did fans continue to pack themselves into the tent, but they came in all different ages. Adrenaline personified, Kasabian was a great balance of electronica and rock — their latest album “48:13” (named for its running time) might be the mostly like current rock album to show up at a rave. Live, it made for a bombastic fusion that lit the tent up just as it was growing darker by the second outside.
What I’d Tell My Friend Who Was At Father John Misty: Yeah, but where are your photos? I don’t believe you.
