All Smiles, the nom de tune of ex-Grandaddy guitarist Jim Fairchild, is in town this week as an opening act for the Conor Oberst shows Tuesday and Wednesday at the Music Box @ Fonda. But first All Smiles will play tonight at the Echo as part of Rademacher’s residency. Fairchild, whose first album came out on L.A. imprint Dangerbird, has his sophomore album, “Oh for the Getting and Not Letting Go,” completed, but is currently unsigned. … At Spaceland, Kenan Bell continues his residency, while Brooklyn’s Locksley brings its catchy grarage-pop to the Troubadour for a free show. … Indie veterans Pinback rock the Echoplex. … And two artists playing the Hotel Cafe tonight merit special mention: Ed Vallance (9 p.m.), playing a release show for his mini-album “The Modern Life,” and one-man dynamo Andy Clockwise (7 p.m.).
