The series’ maiden voyage will feature U-N-I [pictured], Rootbeer and Boombox Ninjas. … Army Navy will play Club NME at Spaceland and celebrate the U.K. release of its 7-inch single,”Saints.” I hear there will be giveaways, and Thee Mighty Angels open. … The Old 97’s play the Music Box @ Fonda, with Rhett Miller and Murry Hammond doing solo sets to open. … At the Viper Room, it’s Avi Buffalo along with Love Grenades. … And some good indie pop at the Silverlake Lounge, where the Monthlies and the Faraway Places hold forth. … Also: David Ryan Harris’ residency at the Hotel Cafe;”  Blank Blue at the Airliner; Watts Ensemble at the Bootleg Theateer; Mika Miko at the Smell; and the French Semester at On the Rox.
