Toronto quintet DD/MM/YYYY makes spastic electro that sounds as if it were somehow damaged while crossing the border. The band’s third album, “Black Square,” came out on NYC indie Impose Records as a limited-edition cassette tape (oh, how retro), but you can get it digitally too, including the appropriately titled single “Digital Haircut.”
