You’ve got to love a band that doesn’t waste your time, and East L.A. trio the Franks charge in and out of your stereo faster than I got over Lady Gaga. The five songs on their second EP, “Duh,” clock in at under 10 minutes, but what the Franks lack in attention span they make up for in energy and hooks. You’ve heard garage-punk like this before, and the way the Franks do it, you won’t feel an ounce of guilt for continuing to like it.
