The Stagecoach festival brought some twang to the desert this past weekend — the lineup for the country and roots music version of Coachella mixed commercial favorites with some Western legends and more cutting-edge fare. ☛ Nick13 from Tiger Army: First country performance ever was awesome: smooth country from a tatted-up punk.
☛ Avett Brothers: Their set was more country/roots-oriented than their Coachella set and had me and the crowd dancing.
☛ Victoria WIlliams: Because anything that wacky is captivating.
