Top 5 reasons to get up and go tonight:

The Brian Jonestown Massacre ends a long transcontinental tour at the Fonda Theatre. BJM’s new album “Who Killed Sgt. Pepper?” came out back in February. Famously unpredictable frontman Anton Newcombe worked with Spaceman 3 bassist Will Carruthers (among others) on the album, and guitarist Matt Hollywood is back in the band. Seasons celebrates the release of their “Winter” EP with a free show at the Echo featuring Tenlons Fort and Death to Anders.
‣ Our favorite Canadian indie-poppers Stars play the first of two nights at the Troubadour behind the release (today) of their fifth album, “The Five Ghosts.” It’s quite good.
Peggy Sue, a folk trio from Brighton, U.K., visits Spaceland, supported by talented locals Pepper Rabbit.
‣ And Charlie Wadhams plays the Silverlake Lounge in support of Philadelphia folkies Adam Arcuragi.
