This edition of The Buzzsicle, which I’ve randomly titled “Summerfunnin’,” includes a batch of music that’s hit my inbox in the past few weeks — some old, some new, some just new to me. In future episodes, I will try to highlight new releases and songs/bands that I simply don’t have the time to do full blog posts on. One hour of music, coming up …

After the jump, the tracklist, with notes:

The Guggenheim Grotto, “Wisdom” — Dublin folkies doing U.S. residencies this summer, including Wednesdays this month at the Hotel Cafe.
Dante Vs Zombies, “Yes I’m Stalking You” —  L.A. ensemble featuring members of Starlite Desperation, the Shore, Jail Weddings; single out on Albino Crow.
The Silver Seas, “Another Bad Night’s Sleep” — Nashville band’s “Chateau Revenge” out this month.
Ed Harcourt, “Do As I Say Not As I Do” — Sang this Englishman’s praises recently.
New Vo Riche, “She’s Not Your Girl” — L.A. trio the first signing to new Century Park Records.
The Clean, “In the Dreamlife U Need a Rubber Soul” — From the Kiwi hall-of-famers’ (well, if there isn’t one, they should be one of the first inductees) “Mister Pop.”
Film School, “Heart Full of Pentagons” — New album “Fission” will surprise you. More on this next week.
Blonde Redhead, “Here Sometimes” — Be still my beating heart.
Miniature Tigers, “Gold Skull” — At Spaceland on July 24.
Suckers, “A Mind I Know” — One of 8 million Brooklyn bands getting far too much credit, but this is cool. At the El Rey on Sept. 16.
Archie Bronson Outfit, “Shark’s Tooth” — New album “Coconut” was out in March.
Blue Jungle, “Loser” — I’m way late on these L.A. peeps, but thanks to whoever sent me the vinyl.
Murder Mystery, “I Am (If You Are)” — Not to be confused with L.A. locals Manhattan Murder Mystery. Indie-pop from NYC.
Annuals, “Loxtep” — From the Raleigh, N.C., sextet’s new “Sweet Sister” EP.

Saint Motel, “Dear Dictator (Sam Sparro Remix)” — L.A. quartet gets Sam’s Midas touch. Posted it for download.
Feats in Inches, “Chicago” — Northridge quintet covers Sufjan Stevens, rather nicely.

Curated by Buzz Bands LA. Produced by Noise City Sound.
