[Happy Monday. For all you Daft Punk fans, Jason Bentley will be debuting tracks from the “Tron: Legacy” soundtrack at 10 this morning on your friendly neighborhood public radio station …]
Top 2 audio/visual spectacles this evening:
‣ Roger Waters performs “The Wall” live at Staples Center.
‣ Sonic experimentalists the Books, joined by Temporary Residence labelmates the Black Heart Procession, play the Music Box.

Three more nifty outings to make your decision difficult:
‣ Chasing Kings wind up their Silverlake Lounge residency (and celebrate the release of a new 10-inch), supported by Francisco the Man, among others, and an early set from Jake Troth.
‣ U.K. electro-soul duo Belleruche – that’s their video for “Fuzz Face,” above, made from 4,500 photocopies – plays the RSVP-only It’s a School Night at Bardot, along with Rocco Deluca.
‣ And Standing Shadows [see Friday’s post] head up a big bill at the Troubadour that includes Death Kit.
Elsewhere: Dirt Dress‘ final residency night (which includes Oh Darling) at Spaceland; Black Apples‘ residency finale at the Echo with Jail Weddings, My Pet Saddle and Dante vs. Zombies; the Rescues at the Hotel Cafe; John Macy & the Heavy Hand at the Mint; Cloudhanger at the Viper Room; Phil Alvin at the Redwood Bar; and Corima at Pehrspace.
They used the same technology Radiohead used for the video of House Of Cards! That’s awesome.
