This weekend’s best anniversary party:

‣ Tip of the cap to the Hotel Cafe, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this weekend with its HoHoTel Holiday shows that benefit the Los Angeles Fire Dept.’s Spark of Love Toy Drive. The venue is doing it up right, rolling out the big guns, including many artists who nurtured their careers at the venue. Tonight, it’s Butch Walker (that’s the wonderful video for “Pretty Melody,” off this year’s album “I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart”), along with Cary Brothers, Meiko, Jim Bianco, Buddy, Bleu, Laura Jansen, Chris Pierce, Jay Buchanan and Lucy Schwartz, to name a few. On Saturday night, Tyler Hilton, Rocco Deluca, Nina Storey, Keaton Simons, Ernie Halter, Terra Naom and Brandi Emma head up a monster bill. Things get started each night at 7.
