Mp3-pack, Valentine’s Day edition: Acid House Kings, Friend Slash Lover, Funeral Club

[In lieu of flowers, a bouquet of music for Feb. 14 …]

Acid House Kings, “Are We Lovers or Are We Friends?” – We’ve liked these Swedes every since 2002’s gem “Mondays Are Like Tuesdays and Tuesdays Are Like Wednesdays” … in fact, we’ve liked these Swedes more than some of the Swedes you probably like. The new album from Johan AngergÃ¥rd (see also: The Legends) and mates is titled “Music Sounds Better With You.” A perfect sentiment, to be sure. Out March 22.

Friend Slash Lover, “Breakin’ Up” – New from the L.A. indie-rockers anchored by singer-guitarist Josh Mintz and bassist Frank Day. The band just released its first EP “As American As Ones and Zeros.”

Funeral Club, “Coming Down From Love” – Dreamy and lovely, just the way the L.A. band did it on their album “The Year of the Bloody Sevens.”
