Brooklyn rapper/electro-popper/fashion plate Theophilus London made a lot of noise in the mixtape world in recent years, and his recent “Lovers Holiday” EP, which features a collaboration with Sara Quin of Tegan & Sara, has only escalated the hype. (Their Valentine’s Day appearance on Letterman didn’t hurt, either.) Solange Knowles also guests on the EP, which reveals London’s affection for light-hearted, poppy R&B that, with a few tweaks, could carry a disco full of indie kids.
