Young songwriter J. Irvin Dally, who followed up last fall’s excellent “Despistado” EP with the “Sun Room” single earlier this year, will play Buzz Bands LA’s SecondTuesday songwriter night at Lot 1 Cafe on Tuesday, April 12. Dally will be joined by two bands currently sharing the same members – Soft Pipes and Miracle Parade. And the evening will kick off with a rare outing by Lassie Foundatioon frontman Wayne Everett, performing in a trio with Frank Lenz and Jim Mills.

Soft Pipes, the project of Low Vs Diamond guitarist Anthony Polcino, last year digitally released their debut “When You’re Done Here You Get to Go Home.” Miracle Parade, the vehicle for L.A.-via-Boston songwriter Christopher Pappas, will release its new album “Hark! … And Other Lost Transmissions” on June 11. Besides his work with the Lassie Foundation, Everett has a solo album, “Kingsqueens,” to his credit.

The music starts at 9 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door.
