I’ll Remember This Until: Another bubblegum pop star from the ’90s can reinvent her self with even half the energy this Swedish badass has – or at least until the batteries in my complimentary blinking “I <3 Robyn” necklace dies. Fans of the Aquabats may have booed when the O.C. band was cut off, but Robyn fans who were already piling in to the tent were ready to interrupt those whiners with some necessary push-and-shove. This was Robyn, after all. This is the girl who has bounced back out of nowhere with such relentless fierceness, you’d be foolish not to get down with her. Sure, her spacey intro was slightly grandiose, but once she came out for “Fembot,” all was forgiven in a slight case of delirious giddiness. Pitch-perfect and reigning over all that is in the electro-pop kingdom, Robyn never has to worry about dancing on her own again.
What I’d Tell My Friends Who Were Only Offered Head Bobbing At Nosaj Thing Next Door: I pulled out my dancing shoes and more with one of the best pop stars of today while you watched some guy fidget with his laptop.
