There seems to be some footage from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros’ video series in the clip for Alexander’s “A Million Years” – what is it about the desert, anyway? – but that’s not to detract from the song, or Zeros frontman Alex Ebert’s solo effort. Alexander’s DIY album is a loose and engaging collection of hippie-flavored folk, and along with “Truth,” the track “A Million Years” is the highlight.
