[Scrumptious new tracks from artists we like:]

Ladytron, “White Elephant” – If you didn’t score a copy of this spring’s “Best of Ladytron: 00-10,” you should; it’s ample evidence why the U.K. quartet has prevailed for a decade-plus while other electro acts have fallen by the wayside. The band recently announced its fifth album, “Gravity the Seducer,” will be out Sept. 13 – and it ventures into dream-pop, a strain previously unexplored by Ladytron. Love Helen Marnie’s vocals on this first single:

Booker T. Jones (featuring Matt Berninger of the National and Sharon Jones), “Representing Memphis” – Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and three-time Grammy winner Booker T. Jones released a new album “The Road From Memphis” earlier this month, and among the guests are Lou Reed, My Morning Jacket’s Yim Yames and, on the following track, Berninger and Jones. It’s kind of a jaw-dropper. Booker T. will play the Satellite on June 16.

Gomez, “Options” – The U.K. quintet’s eighth album, “Whatever’s on Your Mind,” is en route June 21. Over the first seven, Gomez’s lush guitar pop has never been anything less than amiable, and occasionally it’s capable of tying your heartstrings in a knot. This bouncy, horn-infused first single will get your feet tapping.
