What do you do for an encore if you’ve released three albums in barely over a year? If you’re the L.A. noise-rock duo Alpine Decline, you get out of the country. The two-piece — the project of guitarist Jonathan Zeitlin and drummer Pauline Mu (both formerly of Mezzanine Owls) — last week announced the release of their third album, “消失/Disappearance.” Along with it came a note that the couple is moving to Fifth Ring Road in Beijing in August to record and play music. The album finds Zeitlin and Mu continuing their explorations in reverb-soaked dissonance and agitated noise-pop. It’s a head trip, sure, but maybe not so much as moving to China.
