Ximena Sariñana, fresh off tour with Fitz & the Tantrums and with her English-language debut (produced by Dave Sitek and Greg Kurstin) coming Aug. 2, headlines the Echoplex. That’s her video for “Shine Down,” above, which we previewed before her Silverlake Jubilee performance.
The Monkees’ 45th Anniversary Tour plays the last of its 30 dates at the Greek Theatre, with three-quarters of the original band – Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork – running through the old hits.
Dirt Bird, the solo project of singer Claire McKeown of Shadow Shadow Shade, celebrates the release of its album “Summer Night Hours” with a show at HM 157 (3110 N. Broadway).
‣ And it’s Sarah McLachlan at the Hollywood Bowl.
