Tonight’s touts:

‣ Portland rockers Portugal. The Man are doing it right on the day their new album “In the Mountain in the Cloud” is released. They’re on KCRW this morning, and do two shows later, a 4:30 p.m. acoustic set and a cozy show at El Cid (both of which will be webcast on UStream). Entry into the El Cid show is free with proof of purchase of the new album. Meanwhile, that’s the video for the new song “Got It All (Can’t Be Living Now),” above.
Shadow Shadow Shade bring their big sound to the Echo, supported by Handshakes, Spirit Vine and Chasing Kings (playing the late set after their show earlier in Santa Monica).
‣ The Little Record Company residency at the Satellite continues with two singer-songwriters with new releases on Pierre de Reeder’s label heading up the show, Nik Freitas and Mike Bloom. Also, the husband-wife duo Big Harp and Jeremy Messersmith.
‣ And there’s an excellent local lineup at the Central SAPC in Santa Monica, featuring Irontom, Chasing Kings, Rademacher and Francisco the Man.
