It’s been 12 years since Kermit and the gang left the screen, but talk about Muppet invasion. The gang celebrates their comeback in the new Muppets film, which also stars Jason Segel (who knows both music and puppets) and Amy Adams (who knows both music and Disney), by teaming up with one of the most beloved viral bands, OK Go. Combining elements from all their past popular videos, OK Go puts a modern spin on the classic “Muppet Show Theme Song” — and first track off of “Muppets: The Green Album.” Other artists joining in on the fun with their covers of well-known Muppets songs include Weezer (who amusingly also have a “Green” album), My Morning Jacket, Airborne Toxic Event and more.
