Labor Day shows you can catch if you’re not seeing the Beach Boys at the L.A. County Fair:
► Jonathan Bates brings the devastating electro of his new project Big Black Delta to the Satellite, kicking off a monthlong residency celebrating the release of its first album “BBDLP1.” Kate Crash and Tennis System open. [If you haven't already, check out BBD's "Huggin & A Kissin" and "Capsize."]
► Dan Deacon, Future Islands, Lucky Dragons and Jon Barba team up for a show at cozy Pehrspace. Should be interesting — get info on Facebook.
► Death Kit (pictured) visits the Bootleg Theater on a bill with Young Hunting and the Electra. Not a residency but still a free show. [Check out "Draw Blood," new from Death Kit.]
► L.A.’s Kissing Cousins and San Diego’s Writer team up for this month’s residency at the Echo; opening night features support from Sneakpeek, SISU and Kristeen Young.
► And at It’s a School Night at Bardot, Carina Round and Nightmare & the Cat.

Well when Pehrspace shuts down for good we know who to blame, Sean Carnage is a idiot, first The Strokes now Dan Deacon? At least keep these things unannounced so a place a lot of people care about can still be around.
