With its runaway trumpet part (and a viola that seems to be chasing it), “Jupiter” is one of the most exuberant moments on Escalator Hill’s debut “Poplar Avenue.” The L.A. quintet, one of two bands (with the Lonely Wild) to rise from the ashes of You Me & Iowa, has been pumping out its sometimes-frenetic indie-Americana is every Tuesday this month at the Central SAPC in Santa Monica, and tonight’s Buzz Bands LA-presented evening features the aforementioned Lonely Wild, Coyote and the Goldenhearts — the Bay Area trio fronted by former 4 Non Blondes guitarist Roger Rocha. (And next week’s residency finale features a one-time reunion of You Me & Iowa.)
