The music video for M83‘s lead single “Midnight City” has arrived just in time for the release of Anthony Gonzalez’s double-disc album “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” (out today via Mute), and we had a hunch that the dream theme shed a light that is more supernatural than ethereal. As a record that revolves around how one dreams throughout his or her life, it makes sense that the clip for its standout track focuses on breaking through boundaries. Part “X-Men” for kids and part “Village of the Damned,” Fleur & Manu’s short film presents the story of telekinetic children who escape from a boarding school and freely use their powers in an abandoned warehouse.
