Happy Halloween – hope everything’s ghoul with you:

Zola Jesus, the Wisconsin-bred, L.A.-based purveyor of brooding darkwave, brings her small frame and big pipes to the Echoplex as her fall tour behind the release of her debut album “Conatus” nears an end. That’s the video for her song “Vessel,” above, directed by Jacqueline Castel. [Download “Vessel” here.]
‣ Stellar lineup at the Echo, with the Icarus Line headlining, supported by the Sister Ruby Band and Stab City.
‣ Perfect for the occasion, the “Danzig Legacy” tours wrap up at the Gibson Amphitheatre.
Minus the Bear, marking 10 years as a band, headline the Satellite and will be playing their 2002 debut album “Highly Refined Pirates” as part of their set.
‣ The Field and Abe Vigoda team up at a haunted-house affair the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts.
‣ And two of October’s residencies take advantage of this month’s fifth Monday – Mind The Gap at the Bootleg (supported by Weapons of Audio and Black Crystal Wolf Kids) and Indians at the Silverlake Lounge (with the Pocket Rockets and Tiktaalik).
