[The music is coming so furiously already in 2012 … Here are some new tracks available from artists we’ve covered in recent months:]

Coco Morier, “Ambulance” – New, dreamier track from the newest project of songwriter-producer Nicole Morier, who’s co-authored songs for the likes of Britney Spears, Tom Jones, Junkie XL and Wynter Gordon and worked her new material with the team of Freescha (Nick Huntington and Michael McGroarty). Limited-time download, today only. [Previously: “Journey to the Center of the World.]

Standing Shadows, “One by One” – The title track of the forthcoming EP (out Jan. 31) that’s the last in a trilogy of releases the alt-rock quartet has unleashed. They’ve covered a lot of sonic ground on the releases; here some angsty psychedelia surfaces from their recording sessions in Joshua Tree with Chris Goss (Queens of the Stone Age). Also, you can “like” them on Facebook and get “Just a Part of Me.” Live: Feb. 1 at Club Moscow at Boardner’s. [Previously: “Freakshow,” “One Way Ride.”]

Last American Buffalo, “So Cruel” – Kevin Compton and Last American Buffalo released a new track to kick off this month’s residency at Harvard & Stone, and they’re following it up with more. “So Cruel” continues the band’s explorations in gritty Americana with frayed psychedelic edges. Live: Tuesdays in January at Harvard & Stone. [Previously: “Yucca Baccatta.”]
