Bay Area band Finish Ticket offers a sound that is broad and touches on everything in between the rock and pop realms. However, their opening track to their latest EP “Shake a Symphony” is nice blend of only the good things in between those two genres. Also playing with the line in between underground and radio-friendly, “Her Way Out (Part 1)” features harmonies, crashing cymbals and a slight tribal vibe in the midst of their pop-rock. Guitar riffs float straight to the top and keeps those harmonies company, making you believe this song is more about an uplifting event rather than a mere escape.
