[We’re in the desert for Day 1 of Coachella – and it seems as if the half of L.A. that isn’t here for the festival is hanging out at Moon Block Party / Desert Daze gig in Desert Hot Springs. So pardon this abbreviated list:]

‣ Bleached, Audacity, the Lovely Bad Things and more play Desert Daze at Dillon’s Roadhouse in Desert Hot Springs.
‣ The Melvins play a sold-out show at the Troubadour.
‣ White Fence [pictured], the project from Tim Presley (Darker My Love) headlines the Satellite behind his recent double-album release, “Family Perfume.”
