Coachella announces advance sale for 2013 fest

The 2013 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival again will be a two-weekend affair – the doubleheader in the desert will go off April 12-14 and April 19-21, promoters announced today. Advance sale of passes for Coachella 2013 will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. This year, service fees are included in the quoted ticket price ($349 for three-day general admission) … which means fees were only increased slightly, if my math is correct. Here are all your details. Hey, kids, it’s only 333 days away.
I think it’s great that they put tickets on sale for the next year, just as you’re starting to come down from the high of the this years festival. That way, if I think about killing myself during the next 11 months, I’ll remember, “Oh shit, I can’t kill myself this year. I already bought Coachella tickets; I can’t let those go to waste. I’ll kill myself after Coachella… once the high wears off.”

I logged on to buy tix the second they went up for sale this year & was left waiting “in line” for three hours until a notice came up saying that it just sold out. Grrrrr…. I was pissed!
It bums me out that people buy up the tix in bulk so that they can sell em at a markup from Ebay- wish there was a way to prevent that. The fans should get first dibs!
