FYF Fest 2012: Refused, M83, Beirut top lineup for 2-day event in downtown L.A.

Refused, M83 and Beirut will be joined by James Blake, Quicksand, Yeasayer and Sleigh Bells on the bill for the newly expanded FYF Fest – now two days, Sept. 1 and 2 at Los Angeles State Historic Park downtown.

Also of special interest: The return of Conor Obert’s Desaparecidos, the debut of the solo project from Interpol’s Paul Banks, the Vaselines, Dinosaur Jr., Turbonegro and American Nightmare. And notable newbies: F*cked Up, the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Two Gallants and I Break Horses.

And, of course, there are some excellent local entries, including HEALTH, Redd Kross, Warpaint, Dam-Funk, the Growlers, FIDLAR, Night Jewel, PAPA, White Fence and White Arrows.

Tickets go on sale Friday – it’s $77 for a weekend pass.
