Download: Conveyor, ‘Woolgatherer’

Giving ADD a good name (and sound), Conveyor‘s avant-pop bounces from Afro-pop to electronica to acoustic folk before the Brooklyn quartet even finish singing one phrase. While their lyrics and melodies are accessible, their textured sound boasts dramatic mood changes as much as it likes to tamper with tempo. Animal Collective comparisons aren’t a stretch, but their Fleet Foxes-like harmonies arch into what a mad scientist’s symphony would sound like his in his own head. Delicious synths and rhythms run rampant throughout their recently released self-titled debut (out now on Paper Garden Records), putting listeners on one heck of a roller-coaster.
