Video: Snowden, ‘The Beat Comes’ Kevin Bronson on July 27th, 2012 Share this:Tweet Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email 0 Snowden has been away too long. Six years after their album “Anti-Anti” made the band a favorite among last decade’s batch of brooding post-punk stylists, songwriter/guitarist Jordan Jeffares and crew have re-emerged. Recently signed to Kings of Leon’s Serpents & Snakes imprint, Snowden has a new album, “No One in Control,” en route in the fall. The single “The Beat Comes” isn’t quite as shoegazey as past work, but it still packs a punch – as does John Merizalde’s video, filmed at the Decaatur Boxing Club and various locations around Atlanta.
