Your wonderful Wednesday:

‣ The run of club shows leading up to the Sunset Strip Music Festival gets a little folky at the Roxy tonight, where Honeyhoney – that’s Suzanne Santo and Ben Jaffe wreaking havoc in their “Angel of Death” video, above – and harmony-toting ensemble Monsters Calling Home performing.
‣ Athens, Ga.’s twangy psych0-rockers Futurebirds hit the Satellite behind their debut “Hampton’s Lullaby,” with the Steelwells supporting.
Y La Bamba, one many standouts at June’s Make Music Pasadena, swings back through SoCal to play the Hotel Cafe behind their 2012 release “Court the Storm.” Also at the Cahuenga Boulevard room tonight: the Sister Ruby Band, the Iron Rails, Indian Trading Furs and Lael Neale.
Michael Andrews – his new album “Spilling a Rainbow” out this week – continues his “Open Mike Andrews” residency at the Bootleg, where Lavender Diamond supports and special guests are in store.
‣ At at the Greek Theatre, it’s two veterans with list of hits longer than today’s show list: Joe Cocker and Huey Lewis and the News, winding down a 24-date tour.
