Another manic Monday:

‣ Monday night dance party alert: New Zealand electro songstress Ladyhawke brings here straight-outta-the-’80s- disco to the Echoplex, where she’s joined by American Royalty. That’s Ladyhawke’s video for “Sunday Driver,” above.
‣ September’s incredibly delicious residencies some to a close. Alphabetically, those would be: Kitten at the Bootleg Bar (with Mystery Skulls, Sanglorians and Rumspringa); Lavender Diamond at the Echo (with Diva); and the Lonely Wild at the Satellite (with the Chevin, the Hectors and the Steelwells).
‣ Big local show at the Viper Room, with Meg Myers and DWNTWN heading up a bill that includes Illusion of Self and No Duh.
‣ A special night at the Silverlake Lounge, with A House for Lions, Taylor Locke & the Roughs and Death of a Star.
‣ Scottish psych-pop four-piece Django Django makes its debut at It’s a School Night at Bardot. Also on board for the Hollywood festivities: Blondfire, Icky Blossoms and Button:Pusher.
‣ And there’s a benefit at Pehrspace for an in-the-works “DIT” (Do It Together) arts space downtown. Gothic Tropic, Emperor X and Spaceships are playing.
