Folk-rocker Anna Rose came on the radar with her 2010 debut “Nomad,” and then earned some notice for her cover of Arcade Fire’s “My Body Is a Cage.” The daughter of Oscar-winning Disney composer Alan Menken spent several years in L.A. soaking up vibes from the city’s Laurel Canyon history, and now back in her native New York, she’s all plugged in. Her sophomore album “Behold a Pale Horse” comes out later this year, and on the song “Electric Child,” she shows that, well, she doesn’t have a dog named Joplin for nothing.
