Wow, Pomona, aren’t you the center of the universe …

‣ How to Destroy Angels, Trent Reznor’s new project with Atticus Ross, Rob Sheridan and Mariqueen Reznor, alights at the Fox Theater in Pomona for a Coachella warm-up show that features extravagant visuals by Sheridan. That’s the video for “How Long?,” above, from HTDA’s debut “Welcome Oblivion.”
‣ Another “Localchella” show has Beach House and Holy Sh*t teaming up the Glass House on their way to playing the festival in the desert.
‣ Sky Ferreira does the first of two night at the Bootleg Theater, the opener featuring How To Dress Well and High Highs.
‣ And veteran rockers Local H visit the Satellite as they bounce back from having to cancel some East Coast dates in the wake singer Scott Lucas’ assault a couple of months ago after a big in Moscow. Lucas was mugged and robbed and sustained vocal cord damage when his attacker put him in a vicious chokehold, but after a month of rehab Local H resumed touring in late March.
