@KRBronson recommends: Woodkid is the nom de tune of French director, graphic artist and songwriter Yoann Lemoine, known for making videos for Lana Del Rey’s “Blue Jeans” and “Born To Die,” Drake & Rihanna’s “Take Care and Katy Perry”˜s “Teenage Dream,” among others. Woodkid’s own music, on his debut album “The Golden Age,” is dramatic and visually striking. Expect a spectacle at the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday.

@Seraphina_L recommends: Kurt Vile & the Violators on Tuesday. Kurt Vile and his band will be stopping by the Echoplex in support of Vile’s latest album “Wakin on a Pretty Daze” that’s out now on Matador. Vile will be joined by San Francisco’s the Fresh & Onlys and New York’s Steve Gunn. The show’s advance tickets are sold out, but showing up early for possible tickets at the door will be worth it.
