Genre-mashing L.A. favorites Ozomatli will kick off the three months of free concerts in the Levitt Pavilions’ Summer Music Series on June 8 – the first of almost 100 shows at two outdoor locations.

Ozomatli will be visiting Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park, which will host the likes of Richard Thompson, Loudon Wainwright III, Young Dubliners, Rocky Dawuni, KiT and Peaking Lights along with L.A. stalwarts Quetzal, Very Be Careful, Buyepongo and Upground. As usual, the series spans all musical worlds, including Latin, rock, folk, world, hip-hop and classical, with everything in between. There are weekly children’s shows as well.

The Levitt Pavilion Pasadena series starts June 15 with jazz siren Barbara Morrison and includes the likes of the Album Leaf, Ceci Bastida, Pistolera, Vaud & the Villains, the Dustbowl Revival, David Garza and David Lindley.

The shows are most Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings through late August, starting at either 7 or 8 p.m. After the jump, the Levitt Pavilions’ full schedule:
