Stream: Bad Suns, ‘We Move Like the Ocean’

Young L.A. quartet Bad Suns made a splash last spring by dropping a stone-cold radio hit that people who don’t listen to the radio could love, “Cardiac Arrest.” Everything the foursome of Christo Bowman, Miles Morris, Gavin Bennett and Ray Libby has done since – including becoming a live force and releasing their debut EP “Transpose” – showed poise beyond their years. Scooped up by Vagrant Records, who will issue their full-length “Language & Perspective” on June 24, Bad Suns have knack for making anthems without coming off as heavy-handed or bleating. The album’s lush production comes courtesy of Eric Palmquist, who’s worked with the Mars Volta, NO and Fool’s Gold, among others. In an era when first impressions (regrettably) sometimes mean everything, Bad Suns are making theirs count.
