Erykah Badu and St. Vincent hold forth at the Hollywood Bowl; get there early for Moses Sumney. Afterward, Badu, in her guise as DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown, does an after-party show at the Regent Theater.
Hall & Oates and Mayer Hawthorne team up for a big night at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater.
Howie Day winds up a weekend stint at the Hotel Café behind his new album “Lanterns,” with The 14ers also performing.
► The Ben Reddell Band heads up the lineup at Grand Ole Echo at the Echo, joined by Angelica Rockne and the Lonesome Billies.
► Later at Part Time Punks at the Echo, it’s Seattle’s Grave Babies, supported by So Pitted, Screature and Loto Ball.
