Video: Travis, ‘Everything at Once’

In 2013, Scottish rock stalwarts Travis released their seventh album “Where You Stand,”* a decidedly upbeat record that recalled their late-’90s beginnings. It sounds as if the band — Fran Healy, Dougie Payne, Neil Primsrose and Andy Dunlop — are still having fun. Today, accompanied by a short note on Twitter, they released a frolicky new single “Everything at Once” as a free download. The accompanying video is kind of a hoot too; Healy goes missing on a thrill-seeking adventure and his mates lament his seeming demise on a talk show. However, “No musicians were seriously injured in the making of this film,” we are reassured. The quartet have spent much of the year working on their eighth album — no word yet on when it will arrive.
