Jenny Lee Lindberg played an album-release show Wednesday night and there was glitter. Which seemed like a rude interruption at the packed Echo, where she had her coming-out party as Jennylee. While the overzealous fan’s kiddie stunt may have surprised Jennylee’s more adult admirers — and annoyed everybody who had to pick the stuff out of their clothes and hair — it was emblematic of the adulation the Warpaint bassist-singer inspires. Her solo album “Right On!” is not exactly the stuff of balloons and glitter party colors, but it does possess a certain dark-dancing catharsis. She played all but one song off it, starting with the peripatetic “Never” and finishing with the pulsing “Riot.” The penultimate song  was the brooding guitar meditation “Real Life,” in which Jennylee sings with some degree of circumspection, “It’s real life that matters.” Take that, glitter-bomber.

Sister Crayon and Facial opened the show.
