Wednesday’s Los Angeles concerts:

Unknown Mortal Orchestra does a sold-out show at the Fonda Theatre behind their most recent album “Multi-Love,” with Lower Dens supporting.
► The legendary Merle Haggard, back on tour after a bout with double pneumonia, plays the Saban Theatre. Kris Kristofferson joins.
► New Zealand’s Marlon Williams [see “Strange Things”] headlines the Bootleg Theater, with Kail Baxley opening.
► Power-pop guru Tommy Keene plays a hometown show at the Satellite, joined by Eyelids.
► California rockers GospelbeacH continue their residency at the Lost Knight on an evening that features Justin Warfield’s new band Dream Club and some of those “special guests” that always pique our curiosity. Stay tuned.
Vug Arakas rock the Echo, joined by Mount Baine, StaG and Flat Worms.
► With his new album “South, West, North, East” arriving next week, singer-songwriter Stephen Kellogg visits the Hotel Café. Brooks Hubbard and Night Lights also perform.
► And a special midweek edition of It’s a School Night brings hot young Mexican quartet the Mud Howlers to Bardot. ASTR headlines, and Room 8 and Phebe Starr also perform.
