► Kentucky’s Freakwater, who just released their first album in over a decade, “Scheherazade,” visits the Echo, with Jay Jayle and Morgan Geer’s Drunken Prayer supporting.
► With their new album “Bloodsweat” on the way March 25, Plague Vendor rocks the Troubadour, with the Bots and White Mystery opening.
► Todd Goldstein of Brooklyn indie-rockers Arms (and before that, Harlem Shakes) plays the Hi Hat, joined by L.A.’s Hands and Mike Sempert.
► And Blondfire does a free show at Harvard & Stone, with Bloke and Bird and Wolf Prize also performing.
