No blood was shed, and it happened on a weeknight, but Atlanta trio the Coathangers previewed their album “Nosebleed Weekend” on Wednesday night at the Echo with a ferocious performance. The album, the band’s fifth and out next week, was recorded in L.A., and the trio has built such a strong following here that it felt like a hometown show. Leading into the headliners, Death Valley Girls ripped through material from their forthcoming album “Glow in the Dark” (out June 10), and Death Hymn Number 9 kicked the night off with a typically unchained set.
