The only depressing things about Iggy Pop’s stop Thursday night on his “Post Pop Depression” tour were the myriad problems plaguing the Greek Theatre and its new operators.

Long lines and a host of logistical woes (which dampened the proceedings the night prior at Chris Stapleton’s concert as well) sucked some of the “Lust for Life” out of the sold-out crowd, but once the 69-year-old rocker went on, it was bliss.

L.A. fans got a sneak preview of the tour back in March, but on Thursday the headliner went deep, performing all the new album he made with Josh Homme, Dean Fertita and Matt Helders, songs from his catalog and a cover of David Bowie’s “China Girl.”

Setlist: Lust for Life, Sister Midnight, American Valhalla, Sixteen, In the Lobby, Some Weird Sin, Funtime, Tonight, Sunday, German Days, Mass Production, Nightclubbing, Gardenia, The Passenger, China Girl. Encore:
Break Into Your Heart, Fall in Love With Me, Repo Man, Baby, Chocolate Drops, Paraguay, Success
