Friday’s Los Angeles concerts:

The Used celebrate 15 years with the first of two sold-out shows at the Novo. Each night will feature an album performance: Tonight, the band’s 2002 self-titled debut.
► Sweden’s Refused scorch some earth at the Fonda Theatre, abetted by the Coathangers and Plague Vendor.
Moving Units rock the Teragram Ballroom behind their new album “Damage With Care,” with Billy Changer, Visions and Glass Spells opening.
Brett Dennen holds forth at the El Rey Theatre in support of his latest album “Por Favor. Firekid opens.
Levitation Room celebrate the release of their album “Ethos” with a show at the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, with Brainstory supporting.
Bird Concerns celebrate the release of their album “Til Morning Comes” with a show at the Hi Hat, supported by by the Electric West, Golden Daze and Audiomammal.
► Long-running Bay Area rockers the Mother Hips play a show at the Troubadour at which all fans will get a download of their new single “I Went In Hard.” US Elevator opens.
► And it’s the second of two nights with Blonde Redhead at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever.
