Massachusetts indie outfit You Won’t — the duo of Josh Arnoudse and Raky Sastri — brought their boisterous, whimsical pop to the Bootleg Theater on Tuesday night, supporting their album “Revoluationaries,” released in April. Unlike on their album cover, they weren’t all dressed up straight-outta-1776, but it was still unlike anything you’ve quite seen or heard before, or as James Phillips of opener Bombadil said, Raky Sastri’s instrument set-up is like a spaceship, complete with mic’ed up harmonicas, singing saw, tambourines and a kick-peal-powered banjo head. Besides the new songs, singer Arnoudse shared a story about why you should always talk to your Lyft driver, because you might make a friend who escaped Russia in the 1980s to escape communism. Cassandra — aka Laurel Butler — opened the show.
