Chairlift, Atlas Genius to headline Taste of South Lake on Oct. 8

Pop duos-turned-juggernauts Chairlift and Atlas Genius head up the lineup for this year’s Taste of South Lake — the annual feast for tummies and ears held in the South Lake shopping district of Pasadena.
L.A. rockers the Shelters, psych-pop quintet James Supercave and the eight-piece fusion band the Nick Valentini Collective round out the lineup. KCRW’s Raul Campos will spin between sets.
The roster for the culinary portion of the event (which features live cooking demos) hasn’t yet been announced. But more than 20 of the area’s eateries will be represented, and there will be a beer/cocktail garden.
