Blend LA, a collaborative series that sees various entities from the Los Angeles music scene teaming up in the spirit of mutual support to showcase new music, debuts with an afternoon/evening of tunes at downtown’s Resident on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The show features six artists — in performance order — Elle Belle, Iris, Skin & Bones, Saint Cecilia, Cellars and Kid Cadaver. The show runs from 2 to 8 p.m. (leaving attendees plenty of time for their Halloween weekend nocturnal activities).

The lineup for Blend LA’s initial edition was curated by promotion companies Beating Lights and Purple Bite PR, the Play Like a Girl collective, the blogs Badass Bands and Buzz Bands LA and the venue itself.
